COMPLETE REAR END MOUNTING KIT

Complete Rear End Mounting Kit
    Includes spring mounting brackets, 4 U-bolts with nuts, complete rear shock kit with spring retainers, specially valved shocks, shackles, C.E. Slider Springs, bolts and instructions. Just add a stock rear end and bolt all on. Needs only a drill and wrenches to install. Nova driveshaft will fit GM rear ends as is. Kits use 1966-1974 Nova, 1967-69 Camaro and Firebird (multi leaf rear ends), also 1957-59 Ford 9in., all Monarch-Granada 8 in. and others by moving pads.

COMPLETE REAR END MOUNTING KIT

    Complete Rear End Mounting Kit

    Bolt on kit for the 1940-1948 Chevy car. Welding is required to attach spring pads to the rear end housing. (1941-1948 only). Kit includes front and rear spring mounts, 4 U-bolts and nuts, rear shock bar with spring retainers, shocks, shackles, slider springs, spring pads (1941-1948 only), bolts and instructions. Chevy's of these years require a wider rear end than earlier models. Use a rear that measures about 60 inches wheel flange to wheel flange. 1968 thru 1974 Nova is ideal.

FEATURES ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT

This fully bolt-on crossmember kit uses Pinto suspension components. Stock Pinto-Mustang geometry is used. No bump steer or other unpleasant surprises. Upper coil spring pods are adjustable for ride height giving Q 2 1/2" adjustment at the wheel. An excellent method of fine tuning ride height to your taste. The car will sit low normally. Unless you're a fanatic, no further lowering is needed. Center support rods add necessary strength to the lower strut rod mount. Interlocking tabs between upper pods and lower
crossmember prevent movement.

FEATURES ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT

Fully bolt on crossmember uses Pinto suspension components. C.E. has the engineering capability to correctly modify the width of the Pinto Mustang I.F.S. In this case we have found the Pinto too narrow to fit the 1942-1948 Ford correctly. We have widened the crossmember 2" over stock Pinto (we have also widened the rack) and adjusted some pivot points. The result is a suspension that is actually superior to the original. No bump steer or other unpleasant surprises. Upper coil spring pods are adjustable for ride height giving 2 1/2" adjustment at the wheel, an excellent method of fine tuning final ride height to your taste. The car will sit low normally. Center support rods add necessary strength to lower strut rod mount. Interlocking tabs between upper pods and crossmember prevent movement. This C.E. kit is still 3" narrower than stock 1942-1948 Ford. Will also fit the narrower 1941 cars if you are careful with wheel size
